What is your Name?
Judy Lemon

What is your job position?
I am a shamanic therapist and ceremonialist. I have spent years studying with medicine people in various Latin American countries, and call the Peruvian Amazon jungle my second home.

The location of your practice?
I have a private practice in San Diego, and I also see clients in a holistic health clinic in Orange County.

What drew you to SE?
I found SE in the middle of the Brazilian jungle a few years ago. I was staying with some members of a spiritual community who only spoke Spanish and Portuguese. One day I was sitting alone in the living room of the house when something nudged me to look up towards the ceiling to my right.  I saw a previously unnoticed shelf hiding in the shadows just under the ceiling and found a book that was just waiting for me to find it. It was a copy of Waking the Tiger in very bad condition for having suffered in the jungle heat and humidity for some time. It was the only English language book in the house, something I thought very odd considering no one in the community spoke English! I recognized this was a very direct sign from Spirit, so I took the book down, started reading it, and immediately knew I needed to learn SE to add to my practice. It blends in very well with my shamanic work and I look forward to learning more.

What is the demographic you love to work with?
Although I am happy to work with anyone who finds their way to me, I most relate to those who are on some kind of spiritual path. The world of the shaman encompasses more than just the seen physical experience, so I enjoy being able to work with people who know there’s something else out there. We can really go in deep.

What is your favorite SE phrase or something that has always stuck with you?
“SE is like watching paint dry.” This is such a visual description to me. When I use it with my clients they look confused at first, but then later on they nod and tell me they now “get it.”

Are you available for consultations?
Yes. I am listed on the traumahealing.org practitioner listing site, and through my website judylemon.com
