Lara Eisenberg

Lara is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner®, Yoga Therapist, Mindfulness Instructor, Women’s Empowerment Coach and Trauma Touch Therapist. She holds dual master degrees in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University. She has extensive experience and education in stress management, trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression and awakening the feminine.

Over the past 17 years, Lara has worked privately and with schools, non-profits and various organizations as a Bilingual Counselor, Holistic Wellness Professional, Educator, Consultant and Yoga and Meditation Instructor. Her mission is to assist females in restoring the natural harmony that exists between mind, body, and spirit, and to deepen their connection to the language of the body, sensation, desires, needs, inner knowing (intuition) and emotions.

Lara believes an integral part of healing for women is creating space for women to explore their emotional, psychological, spiritual and sexual lives. She believes absence of any of these aspects of self can be an impediment to a sound self-esteem and an integrated sense of self as a woman.

Lara uses traditional counseling practices, mindfulness, yoga therapy, aromatherapy, and body centered practices in her sessions. She believes as women refrain from judgment and fully embrace all that they are in this very moment, they will begin to embody that which they seek. With each encounter, she holds the intention of assisting women in reclaiming their voice and ending the pervasive cycle of shame and violence within their mind, body, feminine soul and heart.

In her personal life, Lara uses her intense passion for dance as a beautiful form of feminine expression.
